A Few Words From Collectors
A Devotion That Deserves to Last
Words rarely capture the quiet spirit, loyalty, and joy our pets bring into our daily lives. While their time alongside us is brief, the bond you share does not have to fade into memory. A custom fine art oil portrait translates that devotion into an enduring heirloom, capturing a presence so profound even a stranger can feel it.
Where thousands of smartphone photos remain locked behind cold screens, an original oil painting brings your pet’s physical warmth into your home forever. Whether creating a centerpiece for your living space or offering an unforgettable gift to someone special, every painting begins with a thoughtful conversation to honor their unique story.
The Commission Process
Getting started is simple. To begin, send a text to share what you are wanting to honor with a timeless piece of art. We can answer any questions you have and guide you through the initial steps when you are ready.
From there, your journey unfolds through an intentional, completely confidential dialogue to curate the mood, atmosphere, and scale of your artwork. You can choose between two distinct approaches for your commission:
- The Live Reference Experience: A photoshoot on location or in studio, complete with a live color study, capturing light, color, and form directly from life in a comfortable, relaxed setting.
- Working From Existing Media: Perfect for surprising a loved one or capturing a past moment, I craft your masterwork directly from a favorite photograph you already possess.
Reservations & Lead Times
To maintain uncompromising standards of classical craftsmanship, studio commissions are strictly limited each season and completed in the order reserved.
For commissions tied to an upcoming milestone, holiday, or tight timeline, a bespoke presentation package can be arranged prior to the final unveiling. This includes a personalized note alongside an original, hand drawn preliminary study on archival paper, allowing you to present a deeply meaningful work of fine art on the special day while the master painting is completed in the studio.
